Event Coordination and Talent Booking:
Beginning with a small series of shows known as “The Celtic Battle of the Bands” at the Ionia Theatre about 7 years ago, Giant Leprechaun Productions recently coordinated our largest event on St. Patrick’s Day 2012 in downtown Grand Rapids MI. Called “Irish on Ionia,” this second year event drew 7,450 paid admissions and had to turn away more than 3,000 people due to capacity restraints! Our client “Barfly Ventures” has already booked us for the 2013 event, and is expanding to get at least 10,000 people in and adding a second stage. Other notable additions to client list include booking Irish Music acts for Ferris State University and the Amway Corporation. We’re now a “multi-level” music marketer! Over the years we have assisted other popular events with their  Irish entertainment  needs. We have been involved with and assisted the Kalamazoo Irish Fest, The Rockford Celtic Fest  & the Sparta Celtic Fest.

One of Bill’s greatest accomplishments in event organization and planning was his 11 year stint as originator, and organizer of the successful Big Brothers Big Sisters fund raiser in Ionia MI known as
 “The Chili-Dawg Challenge!”
Now being run by the corporate sponsor he lined up, Independent Bank, this event surpassed the 10,000 chili-dogs in four hours sales goal and nearly $10,000 donation to the Big Brothers Big Sisters in 2011. There were nearly 8,000 people at this event in a city whose population is only about 16,000!


As you can see, Bill has been involved in a lot of events, varying from corporate to private, for municipalities to pubs and for charity and for profit!
